The works were designed with minimal impact on the original fabric of the building to allow for restoring the building to its original form in the future.
The works comprised mini piling to existing stone walls and vaulted stone ceilings in the basement to support new construction above; construction of steel frame structure within the main body of the church to increase floor plate; restoration of historic timber panelling and plasterwork; restoration of existing paving and railings to exterior.
In separate contracts, Austin Reddy & Co. acted as Quantity Surveyors for works to the roof and restoration works to the external façade.
